GET THE FAMILY AWAY TO THE COUNTRY! FRESH, OPEN AIR. FISHING AND BOATING ON THE LAKE. AS PUBLIC OR PRIVATE AS YOU LIKE!
Come enjoy this 2100 sq. ft. guest house on the lake at beautiful Holly Lake Ranch just north of Tyler in the rolling hills and forests of East Texas. All fully furnished to make your stay relaxing. You can enjoy the lake view from the rocking chairs on the full length back porch. The clubhouse for the 18 hole golf course is only a block away. Fishing is great on the two private lakes as well.
Something for everyone!! Plan a visit to First Monday in Canton or visit Gladewater the Antique Capital of East Texas only 25 miles away. We are located in the heart of the Piney Woods Wine Trail with several wineries only a short drive away. It is only 30 miles to Tyler (45 min to Longview) for shopping, dining, movies, etc. An enormous variety of birds are on the property year round or migrating through. You might even see one of our magnificent bald eagles soaring over the lake or golf course!
If you need some down time, relax in a rocker on the back porch and gaze at our peaceful lake, beautiful sunrises and spectacular sunsets. Come and visit us and we are sure to see you again next year in our part of beautiful East Texas.
Enjoy our Outdoor Patio, Pergola and Fire Pit on the lake. Plan to enjoy an evening under the stars by the fire toasting marshmallows and telling tales.
GOLFERS – Our pro and his staff are constantly working to make the course better and better. The improvements are noticeable making for a fun and challenging round of golf.
BOATS
FREE! Two man, trolling motor powered, flat bottom boat and a canoe are available for guest usage free with signed liability waiver. Usage subject to availability.
RENTAL! A pontoon boat for cruising the lake! Bring an ice chest, drinks and snacks. Room for 8 - 10 people for a fun day on the water. Great for Crappie fishing! Not the best bass boat, but equipped with a trolling motor, two fishing seats each front and back and adequate in a pinch. Inquire if you are interested and we can send you rates and details.
NOTE: A daily fee applies for launching/operating your private boat, jet ski, etc on the lake. Check with owner before booking if this is important to you.
Take advantage of the lower Sunday to Wednesday rates for extending your stay or to take advantage of a lower cost trip if coming during the week works for your group. (Most stays.)

Summary: Our party was 5 adults. My husband, our two sons and our grandson. Wives weren’t able to come . Had a great time. Guys played golf and fished, fished and fished. The house was great. So good to be able to dock boat at the property. Look forward to coming again.

Summary: As a fisherman the Dossey cottage was perfect.Being just strps from the water was great. The homeowener and his wife were very inviting and more than willing to help.with any needs. I would highly recommend this property toanyone looking for a beautiful getaway with golf and fishing being top notch. I look forward to the next trip.

Summary: We have been coming to holly lake for grandkids trip for many years. The Dossey house was so wonderful and the grandkids enjoyed being right on the water. They caught 4 bass from their beautiful dock.

Summary: We had an AMAZING time with Family and Friends! This home is wonderful and has great views. If you're a fisher you will be thrilled. If you enjoy sipping on coffee, tea, or whatever, you'll enjoy the back porch. I can't say enough about Dennis, he is extremely welcoming. Our experience was a 10 out of 10.

Summary: The lake, that was right out our back door, was beautiful and so peaceful. The house was cozy, comfortable and just darling. Golf course was well kept and beautiful as well. Dennis was very accommodating as was his wife, they were very informative and friendly. We had all the privacy we desired and will certainly return when time and life allows.
